— The Roots Dish, Roots Tourism, "The Unconditional Bond Between Product and Territory, Environment, Culture, Customs and Traditions", a heritage to preserve, enhance, and promote worldwide but also among the new generations in our beautiful Italy.
A program that originates and develops at Palazzo Italia Bucharest, supported by the only original Italian incubator in Eastern Europe, in partnership with the Italian Chefs Association, led by Enza Barbaro.
"We cannot separate the ‘Roots Cuisine’ from tourism and from inbound tourism to Italy,” says Enza Barbaro, sharing the project proposed by the president of Palazzo Italia, by the Global School, and by the Lucani in the Balkans Association, thanks to all those “information and training” programs, in addition to promoting the “original Italian cuisine,” that have been implemented for a decade in Eastern Europe and northern Germany.
The authentic Italian cuisine, "tasted and enjoyed in Italy" thanks also to the promotion of Roots Tourism, allows people to live and relive the history, customs, traditions, and culture of a nation that is a leader today in the quality of proper nutrition.
"The Mediterranean Cuisine" surpasses any comparison for a diet that "promotes well-being," not only in terms of "healthy" eating but also through conviviality, by learning about ancient customs and traditional production methods.
Thus, let’s make a meaningful contribution worldwide to introduce “Traditions and Roots” in food, culture, and history, a knowledge that Tourism and Roots Cuisine can generate for our Italy.
